This thirty second promo was produced for Special Olympics. It's a fast-paced, energetic introduction to the sport of kayaking. The footage was shot on location at the 2011 World Summer Games in Athens, Greece. This is just one of many projects Creative Liquid has produced for Special Olympics. We are proud to be a production partner for such an amazing organization.

Final Cut Pro X in Action

If you have read any of my comments on Final Cut Pro X, you already know that I have adopted the wait and see approach. While the software is lacking a few important features, I do believe the application has many features professional editors will like.

At Creative Liquid we continue to edit our client projects on Final Cut Pro 7. All of our edit suites also have Adobe’s Production Premium Suite CS5.5. We also support one Avid Media Composer 5.5 seat. Currently, we have Final Cut Pro X on one computer for testing and training purposes.

Back in April I wrote a brief review of Apple’s preview of Final Cut Pro X at the Super Meet in Las Vegas. Now the software is available and many of us have begun downloading FCP X to see what it can do.
