When planning your project there are a few things to keep in mind regarding DVDs.

First, DVD's are standard definition only. Even if your video is produced in HD, if we create a DVD, the video will be standard definition. Second, budget for DVD authoring if this is an important delivery format for your project. DVD authoring can take hours or even days to achieve your desired results. Your project producer can discuss the options with you. Also, DVD's can integrate artwork from your organization's internal marketing or graphics department. If your project needs to be distributed in High Definition consider Blu-Ray. While the discs look similar to DVDs they are not the same. Blu-Ray is designed for high definition video and the process is slightly different than DVDs.

Need your DVD or Blu-Ray discs duplicated?

We can help. We offer in-house duplication up to 100 discs. For larger jobs we recommend replication and can manage this process. We use a variety of professional replication and packaging facilities. Contact us for all of your duplication and replication needs.

Short Run Duplication

There are two methods for copying DVDs, duplication and replication.

Replication is often used for orders of 500 DVDs or more. Replication is completed at a replication facility using special machines that produce a very high quality copy of a DVD. Duplication is a copy of a DVD produced using a duplicator. For large orders, replication tends to be more cost effective. For short runs, duplication is usually the only option.
