Meeting the Needs of Our Clients

With everything that has been going on in the world of professional video editing over the past few weeks I wanted to take a moment to reassure our clients, both current and future, that we will continue to meet their needs in the edit suite.  Creative Liquid continues to position itself as an agile full-service production company.  We work through challenges to meet the exacting needs of our customers.

Right now there may appear to be much uncertainty in the post-production arena with the introduction of Final Cut Pro X.  While this is partially true, this does not change the fact that Creative Liquid is ready now to meet the needs of our clients.  We continue to work on our three Final Cut Studio 3 (Final Cut Pro 7) edit suites.  Final Cut Pro 7 works very well with our Panasonic P2 workflow.  All of our edit suites also contain Adobe's Production Premium suite, which includes Premier.  Adobe's software is not a new addition, we have used Photoshop, After Effects, and Flash for years.  We have also recently taken advantage of an offer from Avid to add Avid's Media Composer 5.5 software to one of our edit suites.  

As for Final Cut Pro X, we have installed the software on a single computer and are currently testing the software for daily use.  We are also waiting on updates from Apple and several third party vendors that will make FCPX ready for daily use.  In the meantime, the full selection of editing options we offer will more than meet the needs of our clients.  We continue to be committed to our Final Cut Pro infrastructure, but as always support other formats and workflows as well.
